Nylon yarn is twisted to make thread, resulting in a product that has a certain elasticity, strong tensile strength, gloss, high temperature resistance, and high speed. It is mainly suitable for sewing leather products, such as in the shoe, bag, and sofa industries. Nylon thread is the most commonly used type of thread for leather sewing.  

Polyester thread lies flat at the seams and can meet the needs of a wide variety of sewing industrial products, which is why it is widely used. It is made with unique processing techniques and is a specialized thread for delicate tasks such as garment edge stitching. Polyester sewing thread is also called SP thread or PP thread. It is the most common type of sewing thread, made from 100% polyamide polyester staple fibers, and is flexible, conforms well, has complete color options, and good color fastness. Because of its high strength, low shrinkage, wear resistance, heat resistance, and low cost, many leather factories and shoe manufacturers use high-strength polyester thread as a cheaper alternative to nylon thread for making suitcases, shoes, and other products.
